For what it’s worth, our hearts & minds are with all of you brothers and sisters in Benghazi and across the country who’re laying your lives on the line for your freedom in Libya. I know that invariably we will be responsible for more deaths with the no-fly zone now implemented.

“I don’t know how to balance that with the lives that will be saved and the resistance that will not be crushed,” I wanted to write originally, but that’s so callous & cruel, though I thought an international military intervention was the only way to stop Gaddafi at the time, as it remains so. I knew this would go on for some time, and we’re far from the end.
