Join the fight for a decent quality of life in Wisconsin
Stand with State workers on August 25th to let Governor Walker and his corporate cronies know
WE WON’T PAY FOR YOUR CRISIS!
SOLIDARITY MARCH AND RALLY WITH STATE WORKERS
THURSDAY, AUGUST 25TH, 4:30 PM — MEET AT LIBRARY MALL AND MARCH TO CAPITOL
5:00 PM RALLY AT CAPITOL
On Thursday, August 25th Wisconsin State employees will receive a pay cut of up to 13% courtesy of Governor Scott Walker – driving some public sector employees to the brink of poverty. This wage cut does not just impact state workers, but all Wisconsinites. The Economic Policy Institute estimates that the wage reductions for public sector workers implemented by Act 10 will cost the state nearly $1 billion in economic activity. Governor Walker demands wage cuts from workers while offering massive tax breaks to corporations and the super wealthy. Nationally, we are told by both sides of the aisle that there must be “shared sacrifice” to solve our current fiscal woes This translates to working people paying for the financial crisis caused by bankers and Wall Street.
ON AUGUST 25TH, ADD YOUR VOICE TO THE CHORUS AND SAY ENOUGH!
WORKING PEOPLE HAVE SACRIFICED AND IT IS TIME THAT THE CORPORATE CLASS PAY ITS FAIR SHARE.
